As emotions he has kept buried for years become impossible to contain, he retreats to his childhood bedroom. There, he finally finds the courage to say what he came to tell her—goodbye. His mother has already passed away, and this visit exists only in his memory.

A police officer refuses a bribe — and a glowing mark appears on his chest. It won’t wash off, won’t fade, and keeps getting brighter.

His partner calls him a fool and suggests staging a fake bribe to “fix” the situation. They attempt to recreate the exchange — but the glow doesn’t disappear.

A fire took everything from them. On a hot summer day in Vodoratsk village, flames instantly engulfed a large house — home to Lyudmila Yurkina and her adopted children.
Having lost everything, the woman decided to overcome her grief: to find a new home together with her big family and rebuild their lives. Before the cold set in.
