Proteus Pictures, in collaboration with Tala Creative Agency.

has launched the production of its first original project, a documentary film about Greek boxer Alexandros Nikolaidis.

What to Expect

The film, currently in development under the working title “The Last Scar,” focuses on the final chapter of the athlete’s professional career. The project is produced by Giorgos Talantsev and directed by Andrei Korytko.

The documentary focuses on Nikolaidis’ preparation for what will become the last fight of his career — a decisive moment that marks the end of years spent in the ring.

Filming has already begun and will continue until March 15, the date of the boxer’s final bout. Rather than documenting a single match, the film explores the emotional, physical, and psychological weight carried by an athlete approaching the end of his competitive journey.

“The Last Scar” is conceived as an intimate portrait — a story not only about boxing, but about legacy, vulnerability, and the moment when a fighter steps away from the ring for the last time.

Further updates on the project will be announced soon.
